Job summary
Genera is constructing a commercial scale facility in Vonore, Tennessee that will convert agricultural fibers into pulp for sale into the market and making molded fiber products such as disposable food containers and other paper products. This position will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. The position will include rotating shifts in most cases.

Minimum requirements
In order to be considered for this position candidates are required to submit an application for employment through our career site and willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.
Experience required
2 years plant manufacturing or similar experience or equivalent demonstration. Experience should include liquid and dry unit operations such as pumps, heat exchangers, reactors, evaporation, material handling, and etc. Chemical processing is desired. Pulp & Paper experience is a plus.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to talk and/or listen. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to grasp, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, to reach with hands and arms, climb ladders and stairs, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch and push or pull on objects. The employee must often lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. This position will require the use of safety equipment and clothing, including eye and hearing protection, hard hats, and respiratory protection and safety shoes. Where noise levels exceed allowable limits, hearing protection is required and provided.
