Experience working with high-risk youth, backgrounds in coaching, military or security is preferred.

Staff Working with Youth must be at least 21 years of age

You must have a Valid Driver's License, and High School Diploma or GED

Pay is $16.25 - $17.00 per hour, depending on division, location, and education.

Genacross Family & Youth Services requires strong, confident staff members, who have the capacity to deal with high-risk youth who have behavioral and emotional difficulties in a group home setting. Youth may experience frequent emotional crises and be assaultive and/or destructive. You must have the skills to verbally de-escalate a crisis and to use mature judgment with youth who are out of control. You will need leadership skills, behavior management skills, high energy levels, self-discipline, a cool approach to volatile situations, reliability, flexibility, and dedication when providing youth services.
