Dr. Jenny specializes in caring for children and teens. She also specializes in caring for children with special needs. We are committed to teaching kids the importance of taking care of their teeth. We have invested in several interactive learning tools so that kids and teens value the important role they play in developing strong, healthy teeth. Educating kids extends well beyond our office. One of our enthusiast staff can often be seen within the community sharing valuable information on the best ways to care for their teeth, so that kids and teens feel confident about their smiles. As a Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Jenny is specially trained for the specific needs of children, especially in how to handle the anxiety that many children may have when coming to the dentist. Dr. Jenny is also committed to ensuring our entire staff receives ongoing training and education so that every staff member you interact with is well versed in caring for your children. We empower kids to take ownership and pride in caring for their teeth. We believe that when given the right information about oral care, kids will be more inclined to brush and floss their teeth regularly. We take time to show kids how to properly care for their teeth so that they have a great visit during their routine check-ups. We challenge our patients through encouragement and education because we know the impact a great smile can have in boosting their confidence and self-esteem. Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain productive schedules for our doctors and hygienists
Verify insurance coverage and fee schedules while completing full insurance breakdowns for patients
Complete pre-authorizations and referrals as appropriate for patients; gather all necessary information for claim processing
Coordinate financial agreements and consent forms for the patient's financial responsibility of dental treatment
Assist patients with understanding their treatment plan and increase dental case acceptance
Assist with patient check-in, registration, and maintain patient health and dental records with strong attention to detail and adherence to HIPAA Privacy Practices
Ensure efficient office operations, including distribution/response to mail, scheduling, answering and returning of phone calls, responding to patient billing inquiries, and direction of workflow as necessary
Customer service experience
Dental office experienced (preferred)
