Job Description

The Practice Administrator supports multiple offices and the group vision by assisting in the overall daily operations in the practice(s) and further advancing the operational standards that lead to an improved patient experience and the patient receiving the best hygiene, restorative, and cosmetic care possible. Our number one responsibility is patient care and meeting patient needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes plans that advance and support the goals of the Practice and the operational plan
  • Provides problem solving at the practice level in collaboration with the Operational Director
  • Develops and implements Practice policies and procedures
  • Creates growth or performance improvement plans for others
  • Delivers balanced feedback to advance growth or performance plans
  • Conducts weekly or monthly meetings that are forward focused and goal oriented
  • Trains Business Office Team Members in best practice and core duties
  • Ability to act as an Office Manager in the case of long-term absences
  • Collects, analyzes, and processes Practice Data
  • Develops and maintains key business relationship with Partner Dr’s, Office Managers and POBP to advance the practice goals

Safety & Compliance

  • Follows OSHA standards and HIPAA according to compliance and programs
  • Abides by all PPE dental practices and standards for clinical staff
  • Practices universal precautions and proper infection control
  • Minimizes waste, fraud, and abuse
  • Abides by the allowable and prohibited duties for dental assistants as outlined by the state/local jurisdiction

Qualifications

  • 5 years of progressive business office management experience
  • 2-3 years of supervisory responsibility
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience

Skill and Abilities

  • The ability to use verbal or written communication skills to include and collaborate within all levels of the organization, including the ability to formulate a communication strategy.
  • The ability to perform a cost benefit analysis to choose the most appropriate course of action at the practice level.
  • The ability to execute on project plans that support the operational plan
  • The ability to interpret a P&L Statement, annual goals, and objectives for the practice.
  • The skill to coach to successful behavior or skill level.

Working Environment & Physical Requirements

Working conditions include those typically seen in an office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Position may require travel to offices as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
