What You Can Expect

As our Cash Application Analyst I, you will manage the efficient processing, analysis, and resolution of cash applications for all receipts, ensuring accurate and timely allocation to customer accounts. Acting as a liaison to various operational departments, you will reconcile daily cash postings and address discrepancies promptly for resolution. This role is based in Houston, TX, and reports to the Retail Operations Manager.

• Timely and accurate cash matching in Engie’s ERP system
• Reconciliation of daily cash match postings to bank accounts, including analysis and research of unapplied cash receipts
• Liaison with other operational departments for proper cash receipt application
• Analysis of cash receipts to ensure correct allocation to customer accounts and resolution of discrepancies
• Tracking and reporting of all in-transit cash receipts, providing daily status updates to the Manager

What You’ll Bring

• You have at least an Associate’s degree in Business Administration, or Accounting, where you studied financial principles, data analysis, and accounting practices or related field
• This early career position does not necessitate prior experience. However, exposure to tasks such as data management or analysis, handling cash transactions, and reconciliations would be beneficial
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You are strong in analytical ability, detail-oriented, and goal-oriented
• You have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities independently
• You are proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel and Power BI
• You have familiarity with billing or operations across multiple markets

• This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; at office location
• Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

Salary Range: $42,300 – $58,905 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus.
