Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble metal parts according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to cut, shape, and fit metal components
Operate welding equipment to join metal parts together
Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions
Use micrometers and other measuring devices to verify the quality of fabricated parts
Operate cranes and other lifting equipment to move heavy materials
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a fabricator or in a similar role preferred
Proficient in stick welding techniques
Knowledge of machining processes and equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
Ability to operate cranes or other lifting equipment safely
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
