POSITION SUMMARY

The Blending Supervisor will be responsible for the quality of blends, accurate completion of all paperwork, sanitation blender and blending area, meeting all sample analysis requirements, assigning tasks to team personnel, and plans daily work schedules based on analysis of work orders.

Compensation: D.O.E; Target Annual Bonus and Paid Time Off

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises the assigned workers of the blending operations; trains and provides technical assistance and instruction to blending personnel regarding applicable quality assurance procedures and blending processes; resolves complaints and/or problems.
• Oversees and supervise day to day blending operation activities.
• Determines work schedules to increase safety and efficiency.
• Supervise the control room which includes but is not limited to; making efficient tank transfers to accommodate tank space, placing release(s) of juice on a scheduled manner, works with production schedule to meet customer orders, works closely with Quality Control to create efficient blends.
• Ensures equipment is in good working condition.
• Knowledgeable of blending equipment which includes but not limited to, tanks, hoses, pumps, and pressure gauges.
• Effectively works and communicates with other managers/supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
• Ensures product meets established specifications.
• All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years Food & Beverage Manufacturing Supervisory experience preferred.
• Technical knowledge blending process, equipment, sanitation, and maintenance preferred.
• High attention to detail.
• Understanding of production goals.
• Sense of urgency to complete tasks.
• Team player.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Physical demands: While performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally required to stand for full shift; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work environment: Non A/C work area, the noise level is usually moderate.
