GEE Group has partnered with a leading manufacturing facility in its search for a Controls Engineer. As a Controls Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of custom control solutions for their clients. Leveraging your expertise in electrical engineering and proficiency in SolidWorks 3D, you will design bespoke enclosures tailored to each client's specific requirements. Additionally, you will utilize their extensive library of electrical and mechanical assets to develop innovative solutions that enhance productivity and streamline operations.
Responsibilities:
Design custom enclosures using SolidWorks 3D, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
Utilize company-provided electrical and mechanical assets to develop comprehensive control solutions.
Program Rockwell PLC systems to meet project requirements.
Design three-phase electrical systems for control panels, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
Implement and maintain servo motor systems to optimize performance and accuracy.
Assist install technicians over-the-phone with custom install guide-lining and troubleshooting at customer site/plant
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D design software; experience with CAD and willingness to transition to SolidWorks is a plus.
Strong programming skills with Rockwell PLC systems.
Extensive experience with three-phase electrical design for control panels.
Demonstrated expertise in servo motor implementation and maintenance.
