Tonkin Hillsboro Ford has an amazing opportunity for an individual who is looking for a long-term career path in the automotive industry! We are actively seeking out a Painter's Helper to join our body shop! This is a great position for someone who is interested and has a great work ethic. Working as our Painter's Helper, you would be primarily shadowing our painter and helping with smaller tasks along the way. The ideal candidate would have some prior automotive experience with top-notch attendance.

Painter's Helper Job Duties

• Learn painting techniques and perform tasks under the supervision of an experienced painter.
• Masking, sanding, and laying drop sheets.
• Applying paint, caulking, finishing, and touch-up work.
• Other tasks that may arise in the Body Shop.

Qualifications

Painter's Helper Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Driver’s License.
• Upbeat Personality.
• Great Attendance and Work Ethic

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
