Overview:

Althing, a clinical service provider of innovative, proactive health services is seeking a Social Master Level Social Worker (full-time) to provide in-person and virtual health engagements and therapy services at the Althing Clinic locations. The Althing clinic provides equal services to all demographics and this is currently the only opportunity to support and guide medical services with full innovative control where the entity provides FDA grade hardware, secure software, novel and adaptive Communication and Information Theory Empowered (CITE) methods and strong industry partnerships.

Job Summary:
The Althing Clinic is seeking a Master Level Social Worker to join our team who is passionate about serving our community with innovative health solutions and providing a safe space for our patients. The primary responsibility is to assist people by helping them cope with issues in their everyday lives, deal with their relationships, and solve personal and family problems. This role will provide support, therapy, and mentorship to those struggling with mental and emotional health. This includes proper assessment of any psychological concerns patients may be struggling with to help ensure that their unique needs are met. Responsibilities:

• Assessing clients using standardized assessment/screening tools, measures, etc.
• Mental health evaluations and creation of safety and treatment plans.
• Care coordination services.
• Crisis assessments/triage with appropriate interventions.
• Responsible for ensuring and/or delivering and properly documenting the provision of mental health services including standardized mental health screening, diagnostic assessment, individualized treatment plan, individual, group and family therapy, mental health case management, progress notes, discharge summary at termination of services, and the maintenance of patients’ records.
• Documentation and scheduling in electronic health records.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings including case and peer reviews.
• Promote self and practice within the community.
• Occasional travel to support district health and employee health services on site.

Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Valid licensure in Minnesota
• experience in a Social Work related environment required
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with other members of the clinical team.
• Strong organizational skills for managing schedules and documentation.
• Experience with diagnosis, treatment planning, and providing therapy.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to successfully complete background checks.
• Experience in the fields of treating youth and adult mental health and substance use disorders.
• Proactive, motivated individual with a passion for innovative mental health services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $64,000.00 per year
