GEA is seeking a Purchasing Manager to join our team. Your responsibilities and tasks:
  • Lead direct procurement including the purchasing of electrical components, skids, control panels and other direct materials to support the Separation & Flow Technologies NAM business
  • Develop, lead and execute direct purchasing strategy
  • Create purchase orders and follow up with vendors on delivery schedules
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear documentation requirements for vendor setup, changes and payment
  • Seek, vet and partner with reliable vendors
  • Identify and implement process improvement projects

Your profile and qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
  • Background in electrical components, control panels or skid manufacturing a plus
  • SAP or similar ERP knowledge a plus
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Problem solving mindset
  • Organizational skills
  • Negotiation skills and attention to detail
