Job Description Summary

The Systems Engineering Validation team is responsible for planning and execution of critical field-testing efforts to deliver certification and design understand to the engineering segment. The team requires a wide range of disciples and focus areas from prototype field operations and instrumentation to modeling and complex data analysis. The Sr. System - Validation Engineer's role focuses on the activities that contribute to the design and development of products, quality solutions and overall component understanding. The desire and ability to own and execute critical testing and data analyst to support product development is required for this position. We are seeking an experienced candidate who can progress forward immediately support field testing in support of NTI, NPI, and Fleet programs.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• Support Field the design and development of field-testing programs.
• Conduct data analysis and/or testing results for internal stakeholders for use in DVR’s, RCA’s, or FMEA assessments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree’ in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other relevant Engineering disciplines from an accredited university/college.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Engineering Field of testing or development.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% and work in a field test environment, climb wind turbines as needed to meet testing requirements.

Desired Characteristics

• Advanced Engineering degree in a relevant disciple.
• Experience with executing field testing campaigns on power systems.
• Ability and willingness to conduct medium-voltage (12.5kV-34.5kV systems) field testing.
• A strong problem-solving skillset with proven.
• Experience with Wind Technology, Power Generation, or Relevant Heavy Industrial Technologies.
• Desire to drive product understanding and improvements during early life cycle development.
• Experience in using IMC FAMOS, MATLAB or measurement equipment data analysis tools.

The salary range for this position is$111,200 - $185,400 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 15% variable incentive bonus.
