GDC Inc. is Hiring an IT Support Technician Near Goshen, IN

Summary/Objective

Motivated IT support technician focused on cultivating exceptional customer experience and a positive work environment. Experience in handling network concerns, installing new hardware and addressing user concerns.

Essential Functions

1. Provide hardware and software support for office staff and shop floor team.

2. Install and maintain computer hardware, networking, and software.

3. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues over the phone, remote desktop, and in-person.

4. Support users in the use of equipment and software by providing necessary training/advice.

5. Maintain documentation of IT assets.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, the demands of customer schedules may at times, alter this standard schedule with slight notice.

Education and/or Experience:

Experience providing technical support for Windows systems including Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft active directory, Microsoft office applications, VPN’s. Proficient with iOS and Android environments. Basic network understanding and troubleshooting and understanding of WI-FI networks.

Language Skills:

Ability to interpret and create/maintain documents, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in various formats. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
