GCyber is Hiring a Network Engineer Near Arlington, VA

GCyber is hiring a Network Engineer, to support the Joint Service Provider Enterprise Transport Management – Next Gen program at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.The schedule for this position is Mid Shift.Due to the nature of work this role entails, telecommuting is not allowed and will require the employee to report full-time onsite.As a Network Engineer, you will: 
  • The Network Engineer is responsible for ensuring the transport segment of the network is being monitored, maintained, and is opera􀆟ng as designed during their shift.
  • Monitoring and assigning Remedy tickets and ensuring tickets are being resolved within the established Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Handle all escalations.
  • Provide Tier 3 support to the Network Operations Center (NOC).
  • Support local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN).
  • Schedules authorized outages to implement proposed solutions.
  • Analyzes and monitor network topologies.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting of routers and switches.
  • May work odd hours to support facility maintenance actions to minimize customer impact.
  • Other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Active Top Secret Clearance required.
  • 8 years of Network Engineering experience.
  • DoD 8570 IAT II certification (i.e., Security , CySA , CCNA-Security, CND, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)
  • One of the following Networking Certifications
    • Brocade
    • Cisco (CCNA/CCNP)
    • Juniper (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP)
    • Aruba
  • Must have hands-on experience/knowledge with Aruba networking systems.
  • Aruba Certification (ACSA and/or ACSP) preferred.
