GCyber is Hiring a Network Engineer Near Arlington, VA
- The Network Engineer is responsible for ensuring the transport segment of the network is being monitored, maintained, and is operang as designed during their shift.
- Monitoring and assigning Remedy tickets and ensuring tickets are being resolved within the established Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Handle all escalations.
- Provide Tier 3 support to the Network Operations Center (NOC).
- Support local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN).
- Schedules authorized outages to implement proposed solutions.
- Analyzes and monitor network topologies.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting of routers and switches.
- May work odd hours to support facility maintenance actions to minimize customer impact.
- Other duties assigned.
- Active Top Secret Clearance required.
- 8 years of Network Engineering experience.
- DoD 8570 IAT II certification (i.e., Security , CySA , CCNA-Security, CND, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)
- One of the following Networking Certifications
- Brocade
- Cisco (CCNA/CCNP)
- Juniper (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP)
- Aruba
- Must have hands-on experience/knowledge with Aruba networking systems.
- Aruba Certification (ACSA and/or ACSP) preferred.
