SUMMARY 

Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test various components

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the GCM Quality System
• Completes all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements
• Report issues with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Lead or Production Supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient assembly functions
• Ability to work well in a team environment 

Requirements

REQUIRED

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures, instructions, and prints written in English
• Able to use a microscope to perform assembly work
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Good eye/hand coordination
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be able to manipulate heavy loads (50lbs)

DESIRED

• Two years of electro-mechanical assembly experience
• Medical device manufacturing experience 
• Ability to follow manufacturing drawings and diagrams
• Microscope usage for lengthy periods of time
• Hardware installation experience (Helical inserts, dowel pins, keenserts, etc)
• Soldering, box build, small and medium-sized hand tools (tweezers, cutters, crimpers, grinders, wrenches)
