GCH Tool Group is the world's largest manufacturer of new spare parts and components for centerless, ID, OD, double-disc and surface grinders. We seek an Accounts Payable Associate for our Warren, MI, global headquarters.

Job responsibilities:

· Match invoice with P.O. and packing list

· Code administrative invoices

· Input invoices into ERP system

· Resolve any discrepancies with purchasing and/or vendor

· Prepare weekly check run

· Issue checks and voucher them for signing and mailing

· Process credit card payments which require using MS Excel spreadsheets

· Maintain all aspects of payables files

· Assist controller as necessary

· Assist with monthly closing

· Assist with 1099 preparation, sales tax exemption forms, W-4 forms, etc.

· Bank reconciliation

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Two years of experience in accounts payable

· Proficient in MS Excel and Word

· Detail-oriented, highly organized

· Sense of urgency

· Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
