INSIDE PLANT TECHNICIAN

The candidate for this position will work within our team to support our government Inside and Outside Plant program with our JBM-HH NEC. As an ISP Technician you will be an integral part in ensuring the successful operations and maintenance of the Telecommunications infrastructure at JBM-HH, VA.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Function

· Support the Inside Plant services requests as required.

Experience with the following:

· Fiber, Copper & Coax Termination & Testing

· I3A Standards

· EIA/TIA Standards

· CAT5e/6/7 Installation Experience

· Plant-in-Place Drawings

· Analog and VoIP Phone Systems

· PA Systems

· Special Circuits

· MS Office Suite

· Remedy and TMS

Candidate Requirements:

· SECRET Clearance with T3 Investigation

· Antiterrorism Level 1 Training

· iWatch Training

· Level 1 OPSEC

· Safe Driver Training

· Acceptable Use Policies (AUP)

Location: 

· Joint Base Myers – Henderson Hall (JBM-HH), VA – This is not a remote position. Local candidates only. Work to be performed at Fort Myers and Henderson Hall
