Computer and Information Systems Manager / Team Lead
Job Functions
  • Provide high-level expertise in developing complex applications and sites using SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Online (SPO), and other platforms
  • Define functional requirements based on business needs and produce / maintain detailed technical documentation
  • Provide technical and managerial leadership on major tasks or technology assignments, establishing and realizing goals and plans
  • Direct the completion of tasks within project estimated time frames and project budget constraints
  • Execute decision-making processes and apply domain knowledge with significant impacts on project outcomes and implementation
  • Supervise and mentor team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Deliver weekly and monthly status reports
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of SharePoint management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years working in an agile software development environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team transitioning an agency or customer from on-premise or cloud-based SharePoint to Microsoft 365 or other software platform
  • Prior experience managing SharePoint environments, including SharePoint 2016 and SPO
  • Experience leading teams or projects related to SharePoint implementation, migration, and administration
  • Familiarity with configuring and customizing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows
  • Experience with SharePoint governance and best practices for information architecture
  • Knowledge of SharePoint security concepts, including permissions management and authentication methods
  • Experience with SharePoint hybrid environments (combining on-premises and cloud-based SharePoint deployments) is a plus
  • Experience managing SharePoint migrations, including planning, executing, and troubleshooting migration processes
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in SharePoint administration tasks, including user management, site collection management, and content management
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture and components, both on-premises and in the cloud
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint configuration, performance, and security
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating SharePoint tasks and configurations
  • Knowledge of SharePoint development tools and techniques, including SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute SharePoint projects effectively
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest SharePoint features, updates, and best practices
Education / Certification Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, natural science, mathematics, engineering, or any related discipline
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Must be able to obtain a position of public trust with the US Government
A background check will be required.
