GBA Companies is Hiring a Superintendent Near Lenexa, KS
- Be a team player on design-build and bid-build projects – work with architects, engineers, owners, subs, etc.
- Interact with clients and design team as needed to resolve issues and expedite construction work
- Quality control assistance and enforcement on site
- Coordination and management of subcontractors on construction projects
- Collect, review and submit shop drawings, product data, test reports, etc.
- Site Safety enforcement
- Assist project management with schedule development, evaluations and updates
- Review project estimates with operations team (field and office) to ensure logistical and site considerations are included
- Review project budgets with project management weekly /monthly
- Record and distribute meeting minutes
- Complete daily reports
- Additional duties as assigned
- Degree in construction management with at least 10 years of experience in commercial construction, preferred.
- At least eight years hands on construction experience is required
- Partnership approach to working with architects and engineers
- MS Office Suite knowledge and excellent computer skills
- Proficient in MS Project
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player
- Self-motivation and time management skills
