GBA Companies is Hiring a Field Service Technician Near Lenexa, KS
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving malfunctions
- Determining when products should be upgraded or replaced
- May provide onsite training for customer support personnel
- Work with UPS systems
- Provide excellent customer service and support
- Provide assistance and training to fellow employees.
- Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand.
- Works under limited supervision for routine situations.
- Self-starter mentality and team-player attitude
- Serves as the primary point of contact and advocate for the customer, contractor, and/or municipal official(s).
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks requiring initiative, sound judgment, organization, and prioritization is required.
- Ensure all work orders and maintenance programs are completed in a timely manner.
- Must be able to push or pull 100 lbs. and lift and/or carry 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, reach, climb ladders, crawl, kneel and be low to the ground when necessary, sometimes for extended periods of time.
- Safety must be a priority
- Electrical License: Journeyman or Master Electrician is desired.
- Knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code
- A working knowledge of Data Centers and controls a plus.
- Basic understanding of electricity at an industrial level (480v)
- Basic understanding of three phase power
- A Valid driver's license
- Ability and willingness to be customer facing and act like an owner
