Job Description:

Gavvl Law, LLC, an Ohio Law firm, is seeking motivated and experienced Family Law Attorneys to grow our team. As a modern and innovative firm, we are dedicated to changing the legal landscape for both clients and attorneys. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney to expand their existing legal practice by becoming Of Counsel with Gavvl.

In this role, you will work closely with Gavvl Law on a regular basis to provide limited scope representation services to Gavvl family law clients, handling a wide-range of family law matters. This is a fully remote position.

We are currently seeking attorneys that practice in or near Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Columbus, Ohio; specifically, we are seeking attorneys that practice in one or several of the following counties: Hamilton, Warren, Butler, Brown, Clermont, Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, Portage, Summit, Medina, Lorain, Franklin, Delaware, Licking, Union, Pickaway, Fairfield, and Madison County.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients on a limited scope basis regarding family law matters in the State of
  • Ohio.
  • Services may include draft and review legal documents, including petitions,
  • pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements, appear on behalf of clients at status
  • conferences, hearings, and trial, prepare witnesses, and assist in propounding and/or
  • responding to discovery.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing guidance and advice on family law issues and answering questions.

Requirements:

  • Attorney licensed in the State of Ohio, in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing family law attorney.
  • Strong knowledge of Ohio family law statutes, regulations, and court procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Current legal malpractice insurance.

Bonus Experience:

  • Experience with MyCase.
  • Prior experience in a remote based position.
  • Prior limited scope representation experience.

Remote. Part Time or Full Time.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
