FLSA Status: Non - Exempt, OT eligible

The Role:

Gavan Graham is seeking an experienced Assembler who has expertise in reading and interpreting mechanical assembly drawings. As an assembler, you will be responsible for performing the assembly of all component parts per customer's needs, while ensuring compliance with manufacturing specifications. You will also be responsible for determining materials, tools, and equipment needed for assembly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly of all component's parts per customer's needs
  • Read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings with expertise
  • Intimately familiar with the use of hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks, while able to identify any errors or compliance issues and correct or modify when necessary
  • Determine materials, tools, and equipment needed for assembly
  • Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks
  • Identify any errors or compliance issues and correct or modify them when necessary
  • Ability to gather materials and tooling necessary to perform work in an organized manner
  • Perform troubleshooting on assemblies, including visual inspection and validation of adherence to manufacturing specifications
  • Inspect and assist other assemblers when needed
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area

Requirements

  • 3 years of Assembly/production experience and a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Intermediate ability to read prints, drawings, and sketches
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting mechanical assembly drawings
  • Mechanic a plus
  • Intimately familiar with the use of hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks
  • Ability to identify errors or compliance issues and correct or modify them when necessary
  • Ability to determine materials, tools, and equipment needed for assembly
  • Basic troubleshooting skills on assemblies, including visual inspection and validation of adherence to manufacturing specifications
  • Military Experience a plus
  • Problem-solving skills

Working Environments

All work is performed in a shop environment with constant exposure to the elements of the shop. It is the responsibility of each employee to adhere to our safety policy. There is a certain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to be worn during the operation of this job.
