• Marketing and Communications: Manage day-to-day branch marketing and communications requests to support individual branch needs and goals in support of membership, programs, classes, events, fundraising and other initiatives.
• Graphic Design: Demonstrate strong graphic design skills to create print, digital and promotional materials to be used for marketing and communications initiatives.
• Work with the digital team to create and implement branch social media marketing strategies.Develop and pitch press releases to local media outlets, and assist in creating public relations strategies to amplify the Y brand.
• Highly organized with proven ability to be an innovative, creative, proactive and self-directed team member in a fast-paced environment. Work with the digital team to help execute the day-to-day operations of all digital properties (web, email, social, mobile).
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Work professionally and effectively with multiple individuals and personalities at the branch and Metro level.
• Ensure all materials adhere to Y USA brand guidelines and help monitor design compliance with guidelines throughout the association.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
