• Follow general direction and perform other duties as assigned by the Early Childhood Director and/or designee.
• Utilize solid judgment and discretionary skills as well as make independent decisions that will affect the YMCA.
• Maintain positive relationships with many diverse people, including staff, parents, and program administration.
• Ensure YMCA and Health Department policies and guidelines are followed at all times
• Maintain an environment that ensures children’s safety and well-being.
• Prepare, and implement standardize association menus for lunch/snacks per YMCA HEPA and government reimbursement Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines
• Meet the training requirements set forth by the Association and State Training Model
• Participate in the Association Dietary Technician Ad Hoc Committee
• Compile and order food and dietary supplies per guidelines and budget
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Coordinate snacks/meals for special events, meetings etc.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
