Gateway-Longview, Inc. is Hiring a Residential Supervisor Near Williamsville, NY
- Monitor day to day functioning of the residential units
- Work directly with Youth Care Professionals to ensure continuity of therapeutic services
- Respond to and Oversee all conflict resolution situations
- Create a professional working environment through direct supervision of Youth Care Professionals
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Fulfill other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current NYS Driver’s License
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Ability to build rapport with youth based on healthy boundaries, effective communication and mutual respect
- Ability to demonstrate sensitivity, compassion, patience, and active listening
- Ability to effectively work with individuals from a diverse array of cultural backgrounds, beliefs, customs, and lifestyles
- Ability to physically restrain if required
- Associate's Degree in Human Services, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, Theology, Social Work
- 2 years related experience and 1 year of supervisory experience in Human Services
- Demonstrated experience working with youth in professional or volunteer capacity
