Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Professional to join our administrative team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist cients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. If you are an experienced professional passionate about providing high-quality care and mental health solutions, we want to hear from you!
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION
1. Implements and enforces all policies and procedures pertaining to the agency’s mental health services; stay current on changing policies, laws, and requirements for all mental health programs; and assures Federal and State regulations are being followed.
2. Meets regularly with the CEO to share information regarding mental health services and review employee performance related to their clinical care of clients.
3. Participate in regular meetings with team, operations, and management.
4. Actively seeks out and provides education and outreach opportunities.
5. Public Relations/Networking/Liaison
6. Responsible for the reputation and public image of the agency
7. Develop and maintain positive working relationships within the community.
8. Refer clients to other professionals as needed.
9. Communicate with other providers involved in mental health services.
Maintain continued education on community resources.
10. Have knowledge of all agency programs
11. Promote creative problem solving and collaborative person-centered services by facilitating regular staff meetings and provide clinical consultation to staff.
12. Plan for and train staff on clinical issues
13. Reviews all clinical paperwork (e.g. Functional Assessments, Treatment/Service Plans, external Diagnostic Assessments)
14. Conduct and write diagnostic assessments and interpretive summaries.
15. Be available in the office or by phone for staff consultation.
16. Provide psychotherapy to adults through individual, couple, group, and/or family.
17. Make referrals, coordinate services, monitor and evaluate the delivery of services.
18. Provide Community Based Services.
19. Provide services in various billable locations.
20. Maintain professional relationships with individuals we support, employees, DHS, counties, and other community providers.
21. Create professional reports.
22. Handle crisis situations and provide direction to staff when necessary.
23. Identify client needs and treatment plan goals
24. Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
