Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Minnesota WellCare is looking for an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join its team. Will see clients both in-person at our clinic in Lakeville, and via telehealth. This position is primarily in-person, although opportunity for hybrid work as need allows. Looking for a compassionate provider who is attentive, empathetic, driven, and passionate. Minnesota WellCare is a small clinic which allows us greater flexibility to provide the care we want to provide. If you have specific interests, that is great! We support our providers so they can support their passions and their clients.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP preferred)
  • Experience working in outpatient setting preferred
  • Ability to work 20-40 client hours’ week
  • Ability to work with clients of various backgrounds
  • Proficient with Office 365 and electronic health records (EHRs)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform outpatient psychiatric assessments, create treatments plans that align with your clients’ goals, perform follow-up visits and complete documentation in a timely manner.
  • Attend and participate in clinic staff meetings.
  • Keep up with continuous medication education requirements for your license. Employees receive CME allowance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
