Summary
Under the direction of the Location Manager, will oversee the grain handling and rail car loading operations, grain quality, and facility maintenance of the Nashville Elevator.
Essential Job Functions
Ø Maintain all facilities and equipment in the state of repair, appearance, and image as prescribed by management.
Ø Conducts periodic physical inventory measurements for comparison to book inventory.
Ø Assists in leading grain general laborers and seasonal workers.
Ø Assures proper segregation of all inbound grain, performs and monitors effective loading of all outbound grain.
Ø Assists in implementation of required safety procedures and training employees concerning company and government standards.
Ø General office duties including answering phones, assisting customers.
Ø Maintains proper housekeeping practices.
Ø Ability to work unsupervised.
Desired Qualifications
Ø Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred, but not required.
Ø One year experience in an operations role.
Ø Strong communication skills.
Ø Must be willing to work seasonally long hours and overtime when needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
