Maintenance Worker

Gateway Extrusions is looking for a skilled Maintenance Worker to perform upkeep tasks such as minor repairs and cleaning (painting, grounds work, etc.

You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.

Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge.

You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Maintenance Workers are responsible for :

• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
• Do groundskeeping and housekeeping as required.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation).
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. inspect / maintain serviceability of eye wash stations, fire extinguishers, water coolers).
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
• Report to maintenance manager for issues.
• To meet our customer needs such as providing excellent customers services by motivating our team, taking ownership of customer issues, and following problems through to resolution.
• Demonstrate 360 degree thinking in our professional fields.
• Be agile to manage all strategic goals, plans and tasks.
