JOB DESCRIPTION

The sales consultant is responsible for assessing incoming vehicles, presenting those vehicles, and answering all incoming inquiries about those vehicles. Hitting certain sales quotas and working as a team with their entire staff is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Logging and following up with sales leads
• Writing vehicle descriptions
• Conducting an equipment/condition check on incoming cars to establish quality and price with the customer
• Providing excellent customer service which includes checking in with current customers on the status/pricing of their vehicle
• Arranging financing
• Arranging shipping
• Keeping window stickers/buyers guides up to date and displayed on vehicles
• Backing up other employees with duties such as but not limited to taking pictures, taking/editing/posting videos, scanning/emailing documents to accounting, cosigning incoming vehicles, attending car shows, preparing temp tags, etc.
• Ensuring vehicle keys are organized and put away
• Attend car shows when needed
• Keeping the sales floor organized
• Assist in drives for videos
• Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; inquires the nature of their business and directs them to appropriate person
• Works all Gateway Caffeine and Chrome events and Holiday Party
• Occasionally you may be asked to train new Sales Associates or provide back up to other showrooms, some travel may be required

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Basic automotive knowledge is a plus
• Sales experience is a plus
• Business Management experience is a plus
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record

HOURS

Our Showrooms are open Monday-Saturday, 9am-5pm. Our employees work 5 days a week with Saturday as a required workday due to business levels

PAY

Commission based income with earning potential of $50,000 - $90,000
