GateSource HR is Hiring a Senior Tax Preparer (On-Site/Accounting/CPA) Near Great Neck, NY
A full-service CPA firm, located in Great Neck, New York, is looking to add Tax Professionals (all titles) to their team.
Candidates must be comfortable with 100% on-site work.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Provide guidance and support to junior tax preparers
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and answer tax-related questions
- Identify tax planning opportunities for clients
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
Requirements
The minimum requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field; Master's preferred
- Licensed CPA a plus
- 10 years Public Accounting (or mix of private/public) REQUIRED
- Experience preparing/reviewing Income, Corporation and Business returns
- Client Management
- Strong knowledge of tax software and systems, such as Sage or similar platforms
