Come build your career with us!Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to perform structural engineering design and analysis for the company's architectural and structural precast concrete members (both conventionally reinforced, pre-stressed and sandwich panels) at our Jacksonville, FL facility. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of structural and civil engineering concepts and principles, as well as experience working in the construction field, to perform the duties of the position. Duties/Responsibilities:Prepare design calculations, reports and spreadsheets in accordance to applicable contract documentsPerform analysis related to stripping and rigging of precast concrete membersPerform structural engineering design for steel hangers and frames for erecting and handling precast concrete membersConduct Finite Element Analysis on precast concrete wall panelsDesign and analyze connections and anchoring both for handling and erecting precast wall panelsWork with a multi-discipline team to ensure a coordinated design packageProvide structural engineering support to sales and estimating as needed including reviewing drawings, preliminary design and technical support on sales callsProvide engineering support to quality control and erection processesPerform structural modeling using softwareRequired Skills/Abilities:Pre-stressed concrete designFEM, RISA 3DRevitMathCad PE license Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or any Engineering field of study Benefits: Compensation is commensurate with education and experience.
