Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will assist in endoscopic procedures, ensuring the highest quality patient care and procedural efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare endoscopy equipment and procedure rooms for examinations
- Assist medical staff during endoscopic procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during procedures
- Clean and sterilize endoscopes and equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Endoscopy Technician program preferred
- Certification as an Endoscopy Technician is a plus
- Strong knowledge of endoscopic procedures, equipment, and sterilization techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical setting
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move patients when necessary
