To support our continued growth, we are seeking a full-time Infusion Registered Nurse Manager to manage our infusion nurses for Florida. This position is mostly remote but may be required to work onsite to support infusions as needed.

Job Duties
The Infusion Nurse Manager is responsible for the direct oversight of the infusion nurses and is responsible for all aspects of daily clinical infusion operations.
• Improves infusion services in accordance with SOPs and in compliance with state and federal regulatory and accrediting agencies for the operation of infusion suites.
• Plans, directs, and evaluates nursing care and functions in accordance with established policies.
• Has a deep understanding of infusion services and is able to recommend and implement solutions.
• Provides leadership while demonstrating communication and management skills that assist in the coordination of patient care.
• Collaborates effectively with other personnel for continuity of care; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, development of policies, procedures, and skills of infusion nurses.
• Translates the organization’s policies and procedures to employees, patients, clinicians, and vendors as necessary.
• Works in partnership with Human Resources for interviewing, hiring, and training infusion nurses.
• Oversees staff wage and salary administration, motivation, corrective action, and performance appraisal.
• Evaluates infusion nurses’ performance/competency and provides opportunities for staff development.
• Monitors infusion schedules to ensure optimal patient loads and staffing with a proactive approach to maintaining nurse coverage.
• Communicates effectively with the Infusion Manager to establish processes, implement policies, and promote continuous quality improvement of infusion services between clinical and non-clinical teammates.
• Provides infusion nurse coverage when needed.
• Responsible for ordering supplies and maintenance of infusion equipment.

Requirements:
• Current RN licensure in the State of Florida.
• BLS certification required.
• Practicing as a Registered Nurse for a minimum of 3 years preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership competence and preferred 1 years management experience in a medical setting.
• Proficient in speaking and writing English.
• Requires travel (50%) to various infusion suites.
• Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver patients and equipment of 100lbs or greater with assistance.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, and reach above head frequently.
• Must have the ability to utilize visualization, touch and hearing to assess changes in patients’ condition.
OSHA Category:
• This position works in an environment where there is possible exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues.
• Responsible to wear Personal Protective Safety Equipment and/or infection control attire.
