Gastro Health is seeking a Part-Time Imaging Coordinator to join our team!

Duties you will be responsible for:

• Send Radiology orders to Radiology Partners.
• Add accession numbers to exams performed and send to PACs.
• Send study to Radiology Partners to read, along with any prior study for ultrasound & CT studies.
• Ensure exams are read and results are transmitted to the patient chart in eCW.
• Performs insurance verification, obtains authorizations, and registers all patients prior to the appointment at the Imaging Center.
• Performs the registration, receptionist, and secretarial duties as at the Imaging Center.
• Validates completeness and accuracy of patients account information.
• Responsible for accurate administrative data entries into the computer System, as well as various tasks pertaining to the Imaging Department
• Communicates a dedication to serving all internal and external customers to include, but not limited to, the medical staff, physician office personnel, patients, and all hospital personnel.
• Effectively communicate with patients, physicians, office staff, insurance companies, and technicians regarding patients care and treatment.
• Coordinate all aspects of authorizations.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 years experience with obtaining imaging benefits and authorizations
• Knowledge of Insurance and medical terminology required
• Knowledge of eCW (eClinicalWorks) preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Customer service experience
