GASKINS ON EMMA, a new steakhouse concept in downtown Springdale scheduled to open in Spring 2024, is searching for professional servers. Server individuals are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests dining in the steakhouse. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring singular guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. The Server must have strong knowledge of menu items, be able to make recommendations to guests, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times.

Servers maintain a strong, positive working relationship with all restaurant staff to lead and promote an inclusive, creative, and harmonious working environment which will be paramount to maximum employee productivity, morale, and efficiency.

This is an hourly, non-exempt role and reports directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and serve guests in a timely and friendly manner.

Present menus and take orders accurately and efficiently.

Provide recommendations on menu items, wine, and specialty cocktails.

Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.

Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.

Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales.

Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.

Process payments and manage cash transactions accurately.

Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a server in a high-end restaurant, preferably in a steakhouse environment.

Strong knowledge of menu items, including preparation methods and ingredients.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
