Auto Sales Consultant Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work directly with customers to determine vehicle needs by asking questions and listening, demonstrate vehicle features, take customers for test drives and answer sales calls and emails
• Be well informed of vehicle inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they meet the needs of the customer
• Maintain a prospect development system for referrals and owner follow-up for repeat business
• Meet monthly sales goals and objectives
• Other duties as assigned

Auto Sales Consultant Requirements:

• Previous sales experience strongly desired, specifically auto sales
• Must be a self-starter and have strong desire to meet and exceed goals
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions, including high heat and humidity
• Must be able to operate both a manual and automatic transmission vehicle
• Professional appearance and great customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• A valid drivers license and acceptable MVR history is required as a condition of employment
• Must be able to pass a drug test as we are a drug free workplace

Schedule Requirements: The Auto Sales Consultant is required work a minimum of 5 days per week, and 6 days on the final week of each month per week Monday – Saturday based on business needs.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the Auto Sales Consultant is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to type, talk and hear. The employee must be able to see color and at close and far distances.
