Our small but busy PPO Dental office in Pasadena, MD is in search of a trustworthy, hardworking and dependable dental assistant for 2 days per week: Monday (8am-5pm) and Wednesday (9am-6pm)
The right candidate must be looking for part time work as our office does not offer a full time schedule.
We are looking for someone who is dedicated and reliable, with a can-do attitude, and an interest in building their skills, as well as a desire to grow long-term with us. We require someone who can work in a fast paced environment and has excellent communication skills. We are family-oriented dental office and take pride in excellent patient care. Responsibilities:
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Taking dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Requirements:
- Experience as a dental assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- X ray certified
