Gartner is Hiring a MVP/VP Sales Operations Near Stamford, CT

Expected Background:

  • Accomplished at taking disparate data, co-ordinating analysis and identifying retention and growth revenue opportunities
  • Clear communication style - one to one and one to many
  • Strong ambassador for Sales programs/initiatives
  • Highly proficient in executing change management programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Impacting Sales Productivity:

  • Develop, improve and execute key programs to drive sales productivity and revenue growth in Global Enterprise (GE EU) Sales channel
  • Ensure these key programs are specifically designed to support overachievement of financial goals, and drive double-digit CV growth on a sustained basis
  • Partner with Gartner Retention Program on initiatives that support retention and growth acceleration
  • Advocate for change and improvement with Sales leadership at the regional level, and with account managers both regionally and individually - effectively communicate the "WHY" and ensure buy-in
  • Complete ongoing review and assessment of each program, identifying areas of improvement required, and execute changes as required
  • Monitor and assess the progress and success of each program that has been launched and provide data to show business impact of each program initiative
  • Engage, influence and partner with Team NCVI as required for each program
  • Support Conference execution for GE EU. (Co-manage the Global Enterprise Executive Experience (G3E) in partnership with Conferences)

Executing Sales Operations:

  • Support GVP GE EU Sales with high quality analysis, preparation of sales performance metrics and problem-solving areas of strength/weakness in GE EU Sales
  • Develop expertise in all sales performance metrics and tools with a clear understanding of how metrics/tools link to underlying sales performance (e.g. link of metrics to Pathway to Gold execution)
  • Liaise with Team NCVI Partners (e.g. SBAs, Finance, GTS Ops) to continually improve and enhance Sales Operations efficiency and effectively.
  • Execute, to a high quality, core Sales process such as quota setting, forecasting, relief requests and ROE compliance

Leading a World Class Sales Ops & Execution function:

  • Be naturally meticulous and highly curious, interested in identifying and exploring areas for operational improvement
  • Be a role model for the highest standards of program execution, sales professionalism and Team NCVI relationships
  • Lead high-quality, high-impact programs and business analysis
  • Excel in developing and nurturing relationships with GSSO, GTS Ops and Team NCVI Partners (ETS, Marketing, Conferences etc.)

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 184,000 USD - 255,990 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
