The Supply Place inside Garrett Ace Hardware is looking for a outdoor power equipment sales and parts specialist. Are you ready to love coming to work everyday? Come join our team!

The primary responsibilities of The Supply Place associates are:

• Provide excellent customer service to our customers by listening, identifying their needs and responding with solutions and product recommendations.
• Sell, start and show customers how to use outdoor power equipment.
• Identify equipment and use a computer to look up illustrated parts listings, identify and order parts for customers.
• Support the small engine mechanics through parts ordering and organization.
• Accurately take and fulfill customer orders both in person and over the phone.
• Safely operate shop equipment such as saws, grinders and other power equipment.
• Assembly of merchandise to be displayed in store.
• This is a entry level position with the opportunity to learn and advance into small engine mechanics.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a strong willingness to learn.
• Outdoor power equipment experience preferred, but we are willing to train.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and some holidays.
• Must be able to move and stand for an extended period of time.
• Must be able to lift, move and handle up to 50 pounds frequently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
