QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Minimum of five (5) years of bookkeeping or related experience

Preferred

· Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, management, finance, or business

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and TASBO Certification

Special Knowledge & Skills

· Knowledge of the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Financial Accountability System Resource Guide

· Bookkeeping experience

· Experience with Oracle 12 financial applications

· Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, evaluate accounting problems, develop data, and recommend improved procedures

· Ability to use software to develop complex accounting reports, spreadsheets, and databases

· Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
