Finisher II will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing and repairing damaged merchandise in the repair shop. You will train to become a Finisher III in wood repair, leather repair and reupholstering. This position plays a significant role in our ability to add or replace a Finisher in the repair shop.

Job Responsibilities:

• Able to do wood and upholstery repairs with minimal help
• Has an understanding on how to Identify manufacture defects vs delivery or warehouse damage with minimal help
• Able to identify colors and able to mix them with minimal help
• Product knowledge with minimal help
• Able to do all T-ups with No help
• Fill out damage sheet properly with proper codes with no help
• Does Well / Bay work with no help (except Leather Repairs)
• Able to do micro-fiber repairs with minimal help (part of upholstery training)

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position is does not have supervisory responsibilities and reports to Shop Manager

Work Environment:

This job operates in a warehouse environment and deals with hazardous material and power tools

Physical Demands:

The employee will regularly be standing, walking, lifting, bending, must be able to lift 50lbs

Qualifications needed to perform this position:

• GED or equivalent
• Finisher I
• 6 months of furniture repair experience
• Ambassador of the Service
