We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dental Insurance Coordinator/ Treatment Planner to join our team. Our office has state of the art technology and has an Esthetician on site. Dentistry for our patients is a whole different ball game when they come to Gardens Family Dentistry. We offer a comfort menu and patients get facials and same day crowns. We really are looking for someone who values aesthetics and wants to be apart of our fast growing high-end dental office.

The Dental Insurance Coordinator will be responsible for helping presenting treatment plans and making sure fees are correctly reflecting the insurance fees, and assisting patients with insurance-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

We currently have a third part verifying the insurance, we need someone in the office to make sure and focus on that treatment plans are being presented correctly and following up with patients about benefits and pending treatment.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with dental insurance preferred
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in dental software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Obtain necessary authorizations for treatments and procedures
- Review and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow up on outstanding claims and denials
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with the billing department to reconcile accounts
- Stay updated on changes in insurance regulations and coding guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service to patients regarding insurance inquiries

Experience:
- Previous experience as an Insurance Coordinator or similar role in a dental or medical office setting
- Proficient in medical coding (ICD-10, ICD-9) and terminology
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in claim processing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

Pay will be based off of experience and after 3 months will be open to give a raise depending on performance.
