Full Charge Bookkeeper (Richmond)

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team! This position, working in a fast-paced environment, supported by a two (2) person accounting team & CFO, will implement all accounting procedures (AP, AR, GL), provide all required reporting in an accurate & timely manner, up to and including monthly financial statements. In coordination with Human Resources (HR) and accounting staff, process bi-weekly payroll, to ensure timely & accurate pay to all exempt & non-exempt staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· AP, AR & GL - Manage all routine functions, reporting & record keeping up to and including production of monthly Financial Statements for CFO

· Job Costing & Invoicing - Coordinate with administrative team to produce weekly or as needed job costing & invoicing of in-progress & completed Work Orders.

· Payroll - In coordination with Human Resources (HR) & accounting staff, process bi-weekly payroll, to ensure timely & accurate pay to all exempt and non-exempt staff.

· General Bookkeeping – Maintain company cash registers through daily deposits, bank reconciliation, timely collections, optimization of vendor payment cycles & strategic bank transfers between company cash accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

· Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated accounting duties or related work experience.

· Excellent abilities in using Microsoft Office suite of products, with abilities utilizing Excel considered exceptional.

· Insurable California Driver’s License

DESIREABLE

· Experience with ADP Payroll and Microsoft Dynamics software systems

· Previous related experience in landscape or construction industry

· Bilingual (Spanish/English)

· Degree in Accounting or related Business field

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

· Exempt Position

· Salary Range $62,000 - $75,000 – DOE
