Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Wellness Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our Wellness Director in providing quality care to our residents. This role requires strong supervisory and communication skills, with compassion, attention to detail, and a love for the aging population.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage Resident Attendant schedule
- Oversee training program for new and current Resident Attendants
- Assist & supervise RA's providing consistent feedback for high quality performance
- Medical record documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the resident's environment
- Work collaboratively with peers and other team members

- Administer First Aid during emergencies

- Order and monitor appropriate use of resident care & other needed supplies.
- Ability to take vital signs and assist with patient care
- Proficiency in heavy lifting when handling
- Familiarity with documenting patient information

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience in assisted living, hospice care, or nursing home settings
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with the elderly

- Ability to multitask effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.75 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
