The Garden Patch Thrift Shoppe is an upscale thrift shop that is a part of local nonprofit Greenhouse Ministries.

We are seeking a Part-Time Retail Store Associate to deliver exceptional customer service for our company. Individuals with effective communication abilities that create a welcoming atmosphere for our store visitors will distinguish themselves. A positive attitude and a commitment to quickly and effectively address any customer concerns or grievances are key factors for success in this position. We are in search of an individual who embodies qualities such as energy, reliability, amiability, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct costumers to the appropriate places
• Answer costumer's questions about specific products and/or services
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Organize and sort through merchandise
• Must be able to handle costumer payment on our POS System
• Must be able to fulfill roles in both our warehouse and storefront
• Must be able to work till 7:30pm Monday -Friday and till 3:30pm on Saturdays as needed

Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or a similar role
• Excellent communication skills,
• Capable of building trusted relationships with costumer and fellow employees
• Ability to be adaptable yet reliable
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds
• Must be able to stand for 4 hours

Pay:

Starting pay $11.00 per hour

-Possibility of higher starting pay depending on previous experience
