Garden Healthcare is Hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) *PRN Near Pottstown, PA

The Phoenix Center is a 138 bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in the historic Valley Forge area in Phoenixville, PA. Were looking for an excellent Speech Language Pathologist to join our therapy team and the Phoenixville family as a Per Diem employee!

Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing rehabilitative therapy to patients upon referral for communication, cognitive and/or swallowing disorders following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements. This includes recovery, improvement in function and when possible, a return to a prior level of functioning. Clinical documentation will describe objective measures and justification for continued or discontinued services.

This position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Must be ASHA certified (CCCs)
  • Must have current and active license with the state of Pennsylvania
  • One year experience in long-term care or related setting preferred
  • Three years experience holding active CCCs prior to CFY Supervision preferred
