Garden Healthcare is Hiring an Activity Coordinator Near Pottstown, PA
Manatawny Manor is looking for an experienced Activity Coordinator to join our team in Assistant Living/Personal Care. The Activity Coordinator will have experience working with individuals with dementia, have a highly enthusiastic personality, and be able to develop creative activities for our residents.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Activity Coordinator (include but not limited to):
- Conducts and/or assists with assignments and assigned activity groups
- One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
- Provides input and assistance with activity planning
- Escort residents to and from activities
- Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
Qualifications of the Activity Coordinator:
- Must have at least 2 years of healthcare experience
- One (1) year experience in the Activity Coordinator role preferred or Managerial experience
- Excellent Customer Service
- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
