Position Summary:

We are looking for a candidate that loves a fast paced, well organized, and efficient department, who is looking to join our Packaging team. Our packaging department moves together throughout the day as a cohesive team creating systems, applying techniques, and providing solutions in an efficient and safe manner. We are proud of both the product that we package as well as the precision and efficiency with which it is executed. Above anything else we create a safe and friendly environment that allows our employees to reach their true potential every day.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitoring machinery and ensuring that it is running at maximum efficiency and correctly.

Participating in and accountable for quality control along the production line

Inspecting product in final form before shipment

Filling out related paperwork to production line

Matching and tracking ID numbers to the correct product and destination

Cleanliness of the production line and production space

Minor adjustments to machinery as well as some preventive maintenance

Qualifications:

Experience working a production line (with machinery) is preferred: I.e. weight machines, capping machines, conveyor belts, label application, printers, etc.

Working on, adjusting and fixing machinery related to a production line.

Quality control experience in marijuana, food, or other clean industries

Competent at problem solving under pressure of production quotas.

Good time management and efficient workflow

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.

Must be able to navigate through corporate office environments with or without the use of mobility aids.

Must have the manual dexterity to complete job functions with or without accommodation.

Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions

Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)

Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
