Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Supervises STNA's and CNA working on floor to ensure residents needs are met

· Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN or RN in this state

· Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the resident

· Participates in the admission of a new resident by clarifying initial or hospital discharge medication orders and contacts the Psychiatrist to review the resident's status and medication plan

Develops plan to ensure that the medical and health care needs of resident's are met.

Qualifications: Previous experience in a patient care setting, knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
